Major works carried out included replacing all the roof tiles for the main worship hall, redesign a new shelter to house the outdoor incense, re-painting the entire temple exterior and decorations such as adding panels with Chinese writings on both sides of entrances. Barrier free facilities were also enhanced throughout the temple for the convenience of the increasing number of visitors.
